Political Violence since the election of Donald Trump
Ever since Nov. 9, 2016, the day Trump was elected President, the radical left - the Resistance - has called for violence and declared their absolute refusal to accept the election results or abide by the Rule of Law. The whole country watched as the political left went on rampages, destroyed property, attacked innocent people, denied the rights of others to peaceably assemble and express their opinion. Everyone has a Constitutional right to peaceably assemble and express their opinion - even if it is a hate group like Black Lives Matter, KKK, Nation of Islam, CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations), La Raza or the Nazi Party. The radical left is SOLELY responsible for starting the violence in our country since Nov. 9. Democratic politicians are very shallow in their “condemnation” of this treasonist violence against our Constitution and nearly all of these anarchists support the Democratic Party.(4)
Not since the Civil War has the losing party engaged in such polarizing and threatening rhetoric against a President whose major goals are to defend our border, fix our economy, rebuild our military and bring jobs back from China. Trump haters are obsessed with the belief that Team Trump and Russia rigged the election. Yet there is evidence of collusion between Bill and Hillary Clinton and Putin.(5)
The REAL collusion in the 2016 Presidential race was between the News Media and Hillary Clinton, which did everything possible to get Hillary elected. The news media - with the exception of Fox - was the propaganda arm of Hillary’s campaign. Hillary’s lies and corruption were trivialized or simply ignored. Meanwhile, Trump was attacked at every opportunity. We learned more about Hillary from hackers then we did from the main stream media. If the Russians did hack Hillary, all they did was level the playing field.
The election of Trump did NOT create the Left’s hate and violence - it revealed it. The radical left does not believe in the Constitution or freedom of speech. For the past 4 years, the democratic party proved to be the Insurrection Party. A few examples:
* On June 14, 2017, in Alexandria, Virginia by James Hodgkinson of Belleville, Illinois - a Bernie Sanders activist. Republican members of Congress were shot while practicing for the annual Congressional Baseball Game for Charity. Four days before the shooting, Sanders said people are angry and these people should “. . . take your anger out on the right people.” AFTER the shooting Sanders condemned violence. The other democrats response was muted to say the least.(6)
* Democrat Congresswoman Maxine Water told an audience she wants to take Trump out tonight. Why hasn’t she been expelled from Congress?? Isn’t this inciting violence??(7)
* Sen. Chuck Schumer threatens the Supreme Court: “I want to tell you Justice Kavanaugh and Justice Gorsuch: You have unleashed a whirlwind and you will pay the price. . . you will not know what hit you if you go forward with these decisions.”(8)
* On Jun 18, 2019 · Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez accused President Trump's administration of running "concentration camps" in its detention of migrants at the southern border. This statement was widely reported and AOC refused to recant her lies.
Then on July 23, 2019, An Antifa member, 69-year-old Willem Van Spronsen, hurled incendiary devices at the Tacoma, Washington immigration detention center. He was also armed with an AR-15 but was shot dead by police before he could use it. His manifesto likened ICE detention centers to ‘concentration camps’ which clearly suggests that Van Spronsen was radicalized by fringe politicians like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
* Another democrat pushing for Civil War: Deputy chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Keith Ellison, is facing backlash after he tweeted a smiling photo of himself holding a copy of “Antifa: The Anti-Fascist Handbook,” a book that promotes violence. Ellison tweeted:
“At @MoonPalaceBooks and I just found the book that strike fear in the heart of @realDonaldTrump.”(9)
* Michigan Democrat state representative Cynthia Johnson: “This is just a warning to you Trumpers. Be careful. Walk lightly. We ain’t playing with you. Those of you who are soldiers - you know how to do it. Make them pay.”
Then Michigan democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer DEFENDED Johnson.(10)
After the killing of George Floyd, nationwide riots left over 25 people dead with $2 billion in damages. The death of Floyd was an excuse for BLM / Antifa / anarchists to destroy. It took most democrats days to sort-of ‘condemn’ this rioting. It took Biden 5 days to ‘condemn’ the rioting.(11) All of this destruction was JUSTIFIED by the news media - which dismissed the violence as “mostly peaceful.” As the months went by, it was learned that only a few of the thousands of those arrested would be prosecuted by democrat DAs.(12)
Concerning the riot at the Capitol on Jan 6, 2021, had the political left and the media not spent the past 4 years justifying violence, this violence would never have happened. Regardless, everyone who violently invaded the Capitol should do jail time.
We should be thankful the Capitol wasn’t attacked by BLM / Antifa. Monuments would have been toppled, priceless paintings destroyed, everything graffitied and then they would have burned the building down. The democrats would sort-have condemned this destruction just like they sort-of condemned the riots over the summer of 2020. The democrats would blame the violence on ‘white supremacy’ and ‘systemic racism,’ take a knee and appropriated billions more to fight ‘racism.’ So it could have been a lot worse.
The Rule of Law demands equal enforcement of the law. It is evident that in some cities where the Mayor and Police chief are democrats, the political left is allowed to get away with committing violent crimes. But the law is strictly enforced against anyone who is not a radical leftist. Three examples are the Washington D.C., San Jose, CA. and Portland, OR. police departments.(13)
