Obama's goons attack private businesses on politically motivated charges
Obama claims he wants to create good paying jobs in America. This is all a lie. Obama is working hard to DESTROY private companies. Obama uses tactics perfected by third world thugs like Hugo Chavez of Venezuela and Putin of Russia. He has attacked companies that would not contribute to his campaign or were non-union.
• ALCOA, LANCASTER, PA The dept. of Labor forced Alcoa, Lancaster PA facility to pay $540,000 in fines because of racism - which did not exist. The Dept of Labor website stated: "No worker should be denied a job because of factors that have absolutely nothing to do with his or her ability to accomplish the work," said OFCCP Director Patricia Shiu. "I am glad we reached a fair settlement with Alcoa Mill Products, one that not only provides financial remedies for the affected victims, but also creates opportunities for good jobs."(1)
This statement by Shiu is a lie.
No black was told they couldn't work at Alcoa because they were black. No Hispanic was told they couldn't work at Alcoa because they were Hispanic. No woman was told they couldn't work at Alcoa because they were a woman. Everyone goes through the same hiring process.(2) This is nothing more then a politically motivated attack on a non-union facility.
On Sep 15, 2011 Congressman Joe Pitts (R-PA), at the request of Alcoa employees, demanded the Dept. of Labor say specifically how Alcoa violated Executive Order 11246. In January 2012, Pitts received a letter from Patricia Shiu, dated Dec. 14, 2011. The letter said nothing that wasn’t already in the original news release of August 2, 2011.(1) (See letter from Shiu) On Jan. 17, 2012, Pitts sent a second request to the Dept of Labor again demanding to know exactly how Alcoa had violated Executive Order 11246. On 10 April, Rep. Pitts received another bs response from the Dept. of labor. (See 2nd letter from Shiu)
Alcoa employs over 800 black, hispanic, white and women employees at the Lancaster facility. The starting salary in 2011 was $18.37 an hour.

• GIBSON GUITAR In August, 2011, heavily armed agents of the federal government stormed two buildings in Tennessee. Was this an al Qaeda terrorist cell or a Mexican drug cartel hideaway? Nope, Obama’s goons stormed two Gibson Guitar plants in Tennessee - with weapons drawn - looking for “endangered” wood. This is the second time in two years that Gibson has been attacked by Obama.
The first raid on Gibson was in November 2009, when the Nashville facility was raided in similar fashion, based on accusations that rosewood from Madagascar was illegally imported under the Lacey Act, which bans the importation of certain kinds of wildlife, plants and wood, The case was settled on August 6, 2012, with Gibson admitting to violating the Lacey Act and agreeing to pay a fine of $300,000 in addition to a $50,000 community payment. Gibson also forfeited the wood seized in the raids, valued at about $300,000. Some of the wood was later returned to Gibson.

Both of these raids were politically motivated. Here’s what we know for sure. The Madagascar government never claimed the wood exported to Gibson in 2009 was illegal. The government of India never claimed the wood exported to Gibson was illegal. In fact, Gibson purchased the wood from Atheena Exports (www.atheenaexports.com), an Indian company based in the State of Kerala. Atheena Exports is a Forest Stewardship Council certified supplier and is FSC Controlled, meaning that the wood complies with the standards of the Forest Stewardship Council, which is an industry-recognized and independent, not-for-profit organization established to promote responsible management of the world’s forests.
Obama picked on Gibson because they are non-union and the CEO, Henry Juszkiewicz, contributes to Republican candidates. Juskiewicz wrote a letter to President Obama. “I spelled out what happened. I said: You know, we got raided and here are the facts, I think it's unfair. What do you think we should do? No response."(3)(4)(5)
The CEO of Gibson competitor C. F. Martin & Co., had donated over $35,000 to the Democratic candidates in the same time period. Though Martin featured several guitars in its catalog made with the same Indian wood as Gibson, but with correct documentation filed, the company was not subjected to a raid.
Obama’s raid on Gibson is especially dangerous from a Constitutional and legal standpoint:
• Impossibility of knowing how the Obama administration will interpret the Lacey Act.
• Difficulty in understanding regulations.
• Presumption of guilt, not innocence.
• Theft of private property.
• Lack of due process

• A-440 Pianos “Consider the recent experience of Pascal Vieillard, whose Atlanta-area company, A-440 Pianos, imported several antique Bösendorfers. Mr. Vieillard asked officials at the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species how to fill out the correct paperwork—which simply encouraged them to alert U.S. Customs to give his shipment added scrutiny.”
“There was never any question that the instruments were old enough to have grandfathered ivory keys. But Mr. Vieillard didn't have his paperwork straight when two-dozen federal agents came calling.”
“Facing criminal charges that might have put him in prison for years, Mr. Vieillard pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor count of violating the Lacey Act, and was handed a $17,500 fine and three years probation.”(6)
